Solar power in India was just a few years back so far it appeared that it was something only big companies or those who had good income could afford. Most families and small businesses dealt with rising electricity bills and daily power cuts. Clean energy sounded wonderful. But, honestly, it felt out of reach, too technical, too pricey, just not for everyone.

    Loom Solar changed this perception.

    Born from Real Problems

Back in 2018, brothers Amol and Amod Anand weren’t out to chase the latest trend. Living in Haryana, they saw up close how unreliable electricity and high costs made life tougher for people around them. Solar panels existed, sure, but they were confusing, difficult to install, and way too expensive for most.

Instead of waiting for someone else to fix it, the brothers decided to do it themselves. From a small setup in Faridabad, they launched Loom Solar with a simple idea: solar energy should be straightforward, affordable, and actually work for Indian homes.

    Bringing Solar Down to Earth

Loom Solar made it its mission to strip away the confusion around solar. They started building high-efficiency solar panels, inverters, and batteries, all designed for cramped rooftops and unpredictable weather. The goal wasn’t just to sell gear, although it was to make solar power something people could actually count on.

Soon enough, the word spread. The rooftops of towns and cities began to go solar, and people began to depend less on their power bills and clamorous diesel generators.

Riding the Wave of Clean Energy Push in India.

By 2025-26, Loom Solar had grown. They weren’t just helping homes anymore. Furthermore, they were setting up solar plants for businesses, factories, and even utility projects across several states. They doubled down on local manufacturing, backing India’s push for energy independence and the Make in India movement.

A Lot More Than Just Panels

Every Loom Solar setup means more than just clean power. It’s less pollution, cleaner air, and real savings for families and businesses. It’s jobs, local factories, and a bigger push for renewables across the country.

    Lighting the Way Forward

Now, in 2026, Loom Solar proves you don’t need a grand start to make a real difference. Sometimes, all it takes is solving the problems right in front. As India heads for a solar future, Loom Solar’s story shows something simple and powerful: clean energy works best when it’s made for real people.
