India’s electric vehicle infrastructure ecosystem has received a significant boost for its EV charging solutions. This has brought a great boost to the infrastructure ecosystem in India since Caliber Interconnects has been certified by the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) for its EV charging solutions.

The certification will ensure that the products offered by the company meet the national safety, performance, and quality standards and install confidence among the users of domestically developed charging technologies.

ARAI certification is an essential standard of India for EV components, which guarantees reliability and safety under different conditions of work.

Enhancing Confidence in Indigenous EV Technology

The certification will provide a boost of confidence in Made-in-India EV charging solutions, which is particularly needed in the country, which is currently developing its electric mobility network in rapid motion.

According to industry experts, validated indigenous technologies are the key to decreasing the level of dependence on imports and increasing the power of manufacturing in the country.

The certified chargers of Caliber Interconnects are likely to work in the public and private charging if it is on the residential complex, commercial area, and fleet operations as well.

Promoting India as an EV Ecosystem

Since EVs are increasing their use in two-wheelers, passenger vehicles, and commercial units, there is a steep increase in the demand for standardized and safe charging infrastructures. Certified charging systems are also essential in interoperability, electric safety, and durability.

The ARAI approval also puts Caliber Interconnects in the position where it is able to engage better in government supported EV infrastructure initiatives and utility-led charging efforts in cities and highway systems.

    National EV Goals Conformity

The EV transition in India is twofoldly sustained by policy incentives and infrastructure growth, as well as internal innovation. The government’s efforts promote the production of EV-related products, such as chargers, connectors, and power electronics, locally to create a strong supply chain.

Institutional certifications such as ARAI can contribute to the establishment of a consistent regulatory standard that will allow the introduction of charging points even faster without compromising on safety standards.

    Industry Outlook

According to analysts, certified charging equipment will gain more significance as India moves towards large-scale transport electrification. The utilities, fleet operators, and real estate developers will be interested in compliant solutions to reduce operational risks and guarantee compliance with the regulations.

Having ARAI certification will provide Caliber Interconnects with a good opportunity to join the growing network of EV charging in India.

This development is indicative of the overall advancement in enhancing EV infrastructure in India, and it aims to help the nation achieve its clean mobility goals in the long run.
