The green energy producer, Adani Green Energy, has reported strong figures for the nine months to December 2025, with energy sales rising by 37% year on year.
The company achieved sales of 27,636 million units of power during the period, spurred by the addition of new capacity and the strong performance of its plants.
Revenue and Profits Healthy
The year-on-year increase in revenue generated by the power supply increased by 25% to Rs 8,508 crore within the first nine months of FY26. The EBITDA increased to 24%, or Rs 7,921 crore in the same period.
The firm had an EBITDA margin of 91.5%, which is among the best in the industry. Profit was recorded at 3,906 crore in cash, 7% higher than last year.
Capacity Addition Gathers Momentum
Operational capacity increased by 48% on a year-over-year basis to 17.2 GW. The company has already added 2,995 MWs of greenfield capacity in nine months alone as compared to 90-plus percent of what it has added over FY25.
In the last year, Adani Green has added 5,630 MW of new capacity. These include wind and hybrid installations, as well as solar projects in Khavda, Rajasthan, and Andhra Pradesh.
The company currently contributes to almost 14% of all solar and wind capacity installed in India in calendar year 2025.
Khavda Project Moving Fast
The 30-gigawatt renewable-energy power plant under Gujarat at Khavda is progressing on schedule. The facility has currently 7.7 GW of operational potential in solar, wind and hybrid systems.
The project, covering an area of 538 square kilometres, is approximately five times the size of Paris. Adani Green will reach 30 GW by 2029.
The company is employing the latest technology, such as robotic solar module installation and waterless cleaning facilities, to speed up operations.
Global Recognition Follows
Adani Green has been ranked at the top in the Global Top 100 Green Utilities Ranking 2025, by Energy Intelligence. It also received the most sustainable rating in the power sector in India, according to NSE Sustainability Ratings, for the second consecutive year.
Ashish Khanna, the CEO of Adani Green Energy, explained that the company will achieve its 50 GW capacity target in the next few years.
