The government has significantly increased funding for solar, wind, and green hydrogen projects. The budget gives priority to domestic solar module manufacturing and green energy with the extension of incentives under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme. A big impetus has also been provided for sustainable manufacturing, nudging industries toward cleaner production methods and investment in carbon capture technologies.
