Zypp Electric partners with Indofast Energy to roll out 100,000 electric two-wheelers, driving a green revolution in India. Zypp Electric is driving growth in the space of electric mobility with a strategic tie-up with Indofast Energy. The partnership will put 100,000 electric two-wheelers on Indian roads in 12-18 months, adding to Zypp Electric’s focus towards green last-mile delivery solutions. The initiative is set to enhance EV adoption, reduce carbon emissions, and support India’s growing demand for eco-friendly transportation. Zypp Electric is charging up its game. The company just announced a partnership with Indofast Energy to roll out 100,000 electric two-wheelers over the next 12-18 months.

    A Massive Fleet Boost

The plan is bold: deploy 100,000 EVs across eight cities—Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Lucknow, and Jaipur. Zypp’s already got over 10,000 EVs humming along with Indofast’s battery-swapping tech. Now, they’re scaling up fast. “The deployment of 100,000 battery-swappable EVs is a resounding testament to our unwavering commitment to electrify India’s logistics landscape,” said Rajat Malhan, Senior Vice President at Indofast Energy.

    Battery Swapping Makes It Work

Here’s the cool partIndofast’s network lets riders swap batteries in just 60 seconds. With over 670 swap stations in 20+ cities and more than a million swaps monthly, it’s a game-changer. Delivery folks get unlimited range and almost no downtime.

    Powering Up Delivery Dreams

This isn’t just about bikes—it’s about people too. Zypp’s Co-founder and COO, Tushar Mehta, said the expansion will “strengthen their market position in India” while prepping for Southeast Asia, Gulf, and African markets. It’s also a boost for delivery workers. Cleaner rides mean better air, and steady gigs mean better lives.

    A Vision for the Future

This massive rollout by Zypp Electric and Indofast Energy is bringing in a greener, more efficient urban transportation landscape. Scaling up the deployment of EVs, the collaboration not only reinforces India’s drive towards green transport but also positions Zypp Electric among the top players in India’s fast-expanding electric vehicle market. Zypp’s not slowing down. They’re aiming for 200,000 EVs in three years, building on past deals like the 30,000 scooters from e-Sprinto and 40,000 from Odysse Electric. Indofast, a joint venture between IndianOil and SUN Mobility, brings the muscle with its swapping stations. Together, they’re pushing India toward zero-emission logistics. This partnership could spark a real shift—cleaner cities, happier riders, and a model others might follow.
