TVS Motor Company posted a strong performance in February 2025 by recording a 10% year-on-year increase in total sales. With the sale of 403,976 units, the company is following an upward growth path with strong growth in several segments.

The two-wheeler division constituting the major chunk of TVS Motor’s business reported a 10% rise in sales to 391,889 units. Domestic sales reported a modest 3% growth to 276,072 units from 267,502 units for February 2024.

Scooter sales registered a robust 24% growth to 164,415 units. Motorcycles too recorded a 5% growth in sales to 192,960 units.

Electric Vehicles on a Growth Spurt

As the world shifts towards cleaner alternatives, TVS’s electric vehicle (EV) business continued its growth streak. EV sales increased 34% to 24,017 units from 17,959 in February 2024. This is an indication of increasing consumer preference for green mobility solutions.

Export markets were propelling the overall success of TVS Motor. Overall exports rose by an impressive 26% to 124,993 units. Two-wheeler exports recorded an all-time high, rising by 28% to 115,817 units.

Three-wheeler business also contributed to the growth with a 14% sales rise to 12,087 units from 10,614 in the same period last year.

    A Legacy of Excellence

With a history of more than a century in business, TVS Motor has become a global leader in the two and three-wheeler industry. The organization is the single two-wheeler producer that has been awarded the coveted Deming Prize for quality management excellence.

Industry observers have credited TVS’s consistent growth to its widening global presence and growing emphasis on electric mobility. With fuel costs continuing to surge and environmental pressure building, the company’s strategy of transitioning towards EVs is well poised for dominance in the days ahead.

With a reasonable February 2025 show, TVS Motor Company keeps accelerating on the path of growth and innovation.
