SOLV Energy, a leading infrastructure services provider to the power industry, has announced the appointment of Helena Kimball as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), a newly created executive role aimed at strengthening customer relationships and accelerating long-term growth.
This is happening at a time when the renewable energy market is undertaking a rapid growth trajectory and when there is an increased need for reliable infrastructure partners. SOLV Energy has indicated that it is focusing on revenue growth through the establishment of customer relationship management as an executive level position.
Expanding the Commercial Vision
Kimball will manage the business development organization at SOLV Energy in this new capacity as Chief Revenue Officer, integrating customer outreach and overall long-term plans for growth. This new position combines sales, customer outreach, and market insights.
Kimball joined SOLV Energy in 2024 as Senior Vice President of Business Development, where she led a strategic shift in how the company approaches customer engagement. Her efforts strengthened relationships with developers and independent power producers (IPPs), while supporting delivery across SOLV Energy’s full portfolio of infrastructure services.
CEO Highlights Customer-Driven Leadership
Commenting on the appointment, George Hershman, CEO of SOLV Energy, stated that Kimball’s leadership has arrived at a critical juncture for the industry.
“Helena has helped sharpen our commercial focus at a critical moment,” Hershman said.
“Her proven sales leadership, market insight, and customer-driven approach have supported our continued revenue growth and strengthened SOLV Energy’s relationships with key customers.”
Industry observers note that as utility-scale solar projects grow in size and complexity, customer trust and execution reliability have become decisive differentiators—areas where SOLV Energy has built a strong reputation.
Strong Market Position in Utility-Scale Solar
SOLV Energy enters 2026 with continued year-over-year revenue growth and a robust position in the utility-scale solar market. The company serves some of the nation’s top renewable energy developers and IPPs, backed by longstanding relationships rooted in dependable delivery and problem-solving expertise.
With more than 500 power plants built since 2008, representing 20 gigawatts of generating capacity, SOLV Energy has emerged as a key player in the U.S. clean energy transition.
Kimball Emphasizes Customer Value and Momentum
Expressing her commitment to the expanded role, Kimball said she is focused on building deeper customer partnerships while maintaining execution excellence.
“I’m honored to take on this role at a pivotal time for SOLV Energy and our customers,” she stated. “We will continue building on our momentum, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring our teams deliver value at every stage of the project lifecycle.”
