PURE EV, the top Indian electric two-wheeler brand, has partnered with JioThings Limited, a Jio Platforms Limited-backed company, to integrate smart digital clusters and telematics into its electric vehicles. With the partnership, the user experience will be transformed by IoT-powered cutting-edge solutions, real-time connectivity, and digitalization.

Smart Digital Cluster and IoT Integration

This partnership will see PURE EV install JioThings’ smart digital clusters, with end-to-end IoT solutions that will augment the interactivity and productivity of the vehicle. The 4G-based telematics solution will enable real-time monitoring of the vehicle’s performance by the riders, enabling data-driven decision-making for optimal operations.

JioThings 4G Smart Digital Cluster runs on AvniOS, the two-wheeler customized Android Open Source Project (AOSP) based software. It has real-time data analytics, two-wheeler customized UI, and high-definition touchscreen display.

Enhanced User Experience through Jio Automotive App Suite

PURE EV customers will also benefit from the Jio Automotive App Suite (JAAS), a digital solution with pre-loaded apps for navigation, music streaming, web browsing, voice-enabled hands-free operation, gaming, and connection to JioStore. This will transform electric two-wheelers into intelligent connected vehicles.

Welcoming the alliance, Dr. Nishanth Dongari, MD, and founder of PURE EV, said, “With JioThings joining us, we can push our products to even greater heights. With the convergence of cutting-edge IoT technology, we are set to transform electric mobility, with enhanced connectivity, functionality, and convenience for our users.”

Ashish Lodha, Jio Platforms Limited President, highlighted the importance of this partnership, saying, “We are thrilled to help PURE EV provide a connected, smart riding experience. Our advanced IoT solutions will set new benchmarks for electric mobility, smartifying two-wheelers and making them simpler to ride.”

Shaping the Future of Electric Two-Wheelers

Through this collaboration, Jio Things and PURE EV intend to disrupt the electric mobility industry by making smart, real-time features a part of two-wheelers. As smart and clean mobility continues to gain traction, this initiative will definitely boost the development of next-generation electric vehicles in India ahead.
