    Hazoor Multi Projects Limited (HMPL) is set to invest ₹2,500 crore in a 500-megawatt (MW) solar project in Andhra Pradesh’s Prakasam district. The company has submitted a proposal to the state government to develop the project over 2,000 acres.

    Project Details


    The proposed solar park aims to harness renewable energy to meet the region’s growing power demands. The New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (NREDCAP) will facilitate the project’s execution. The state government has requested HMPL to submit a detailed project report (DPR) to proceed further.
    This activity is portion of HMPL’s broader strategy to scale up its nearness within the renewable energy space. The company has as of late declared creating 1.2 GW clean energy projects in Maharashtra sprawled over 4,200 acres.

    Government Incentives for Renewable Energy


    The state of Andhra Pradesh is effectively promoting renewable energy ventures to assist them achieve supportability objectives.  Most recently, it expressed support in favor of NREDCAP in its latest letter for successful implementation of the proposed Solar Park Projects.

    The solar project is expected to generate employment opportunities in the region, both during construction and after its completion.Such large-scale renewable projects contribute not as it were to expanding the supply of clean energy but moreover to the reinforcing of the neighborhood economy, creating jobs in designing, operations, and support.
