Jaipur turned into the heart of India’s clean energy movement. The Bharat Renewable Energy Expo 2026 is currently underway at the VT Ground in Mansarovar, and the city is abuzz with excitement. The expo runs from 16 to 18 January. The event brings together innovators, government officials, startups, and industry heavyweights under one roof. Moreover, they are discussing what’s next for renewable energy in India.

Just walking through the halls, you can tell something big is happening. India’s not just talking about clean energy anymore, it’s actually moving in that direction.

    Government Backing and Policy Talk

This isn’t just a commercial event. Key government bodies are here, like the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Ministry of Power, Rajasthan government, Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation, and SECI. Policymakers and senior officials are not just sitting on panels; they are out there with the companies, talking through and solving real issues like solar expansion, grid stability, battery storage, and India’s climate promises.

People keep coming back to schemes like PM Suryaghar, PM Kusum, and rooftop solar subsidies. These programs have everyone’s attention, from developers and manufacturers to everyday folks.

    Real Tech on Display

Over 400 companies are here, showing off everything from solar and wind tech to EV charging stations, green hydrogen, battery storage, and energy-efficient systems. Sunchaser Structures is making waves with its advanced solar mounting and tracking tech. Big names like NTPC, Adani Group, and ReNew Power are out in force, and there’s a whole crop of up-and-coming cleantech startups, too. They are all focused on solutions that actually work in Indian conditions.

The Indian Wind Turbine Manufacturers Association is actively participating. They are spotlighting wind-solar hybrid projects and the next wave of storage-linked renewables.

    Big Projects, Big Money

There’s a lot of buzz about Rajasthan’s upcoming Pugal Solar and Battery Storage Park. It’s got a planned 2,450 MW solar capacity and 6,400 MWh of storage. That’s huge, and it’s got investors, EPC companies, and energy giants all circling, looking for a piece of the action.

    Real Impact for India’s Future

This expo isn’t just about shiny new tech. There’s a real focus on the impact of reducing carbon emissions, cutting the need for fossil fuels, and creating green jobs. From rooftop solar to grid-scale storage and EV infrastructure, the stuff on display is meant to make a difference.

The Bharat Renewable Energy Expo 2026 isn’t just another event. It’s India putting its cards on the table and showing everyone it’s serious about building a cleaner, tougher, future-ready energy system, and strong.
