Indian electric vehicle manufacturer JBM Group has started 2026 with a fresh export win in the Middle East. The company recently delivered its Bizzlife e12 electric staff bus to one of the UAE’s largest manpower solutions providers.
Saurabh Nirantar, who heads sales and marketing for JBM in the Middle East and Africa, announced the delivery on his LinkedIn account.
Key Features of the Bizzlife e12
The 61-seater bus is built on a lightweight stainless steel monocoque body that is highly corrosion-resistant in coastal environments. Buses in JBM’s 12-metre class can travel up to 400 kilometres on a single charge, making them practical for full-day operations without mid-shift charging.
The air conditioning system has been designed specifically for hot climates. It cools the cabin quickly while drawing minimal power from the battery. The lithium-ion battery packs also feature thermal management to protect cells from overheating in extreme temperatures.
On the safety front, the bus comes equipped with electronic stability control, anti-lock brakes, and driver-assistance features for obstacle detection. Fleet managers get real-time vehicle tracking and health monitoring to spot issues early.
Proven Track Record Opens Doors
According to Nirantar, this deal followed strong performance from JBM’s smaller Bizzlife e9 model, which has been running in regular UAE service. Customers have praised its energy efficiency, AC performance, and reliability in live operations.
“We remain committed to enabling the UAE’s transition to efficient, noise-free and zero-emission staff mobility,” Nirantar said.
JBM’s Growing Global Presence
JBM operates what it calls the world’s largest dedicated electric bus manufacturing facility outside China, with an annual capacity of 20,000 units. The company has deployed or is delivering around 11,000 electric buses globally, which have collectively covered over 200 million electric kilometres and helped avoid more than a billion kilograms of CO₂ emissions.
In the Gulf, staff transportation is a significant industry, with large workforces regularly travelling between accommodations and job sites in intense heat. Electric buses offer lower fuel and maintenance costs than diesel buses, along with quieter rides for passengers.
