Solex Energy has announced a significant milestone in its renewable energy journey by securing a ₹451.41 crore order from KPI Green Energy. The contract entails the supply of 310 MW of N-Type TOPCon 615Wp glass-to-glass solar photovoltaic (PV) modules. These advanced modules are slated for deployment in KPI Green’s projects under the Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) initiative, forming a part of their Independent Power Producer (IPP) portfolio.

Strategic Partnership Enhances Renewable Energy Infrastructure

The partnership between Solex Energy and KPI Green Energy reflects a common vision of establishing India’s renewable energy base. The use of high-efficiency N-Type TOPCon modules is likely to enhance the efficiency and reliability of solar power projects, allowing the country to achieve its sustainable energy targets.

Chetan Shah, Chairman and Managing Director, Solex Energy, said he was thrilled with the deal, “This substantial order confirms the confidence of the market in the technology, reliability, and ability of Solex to deliver large-scale projects.”

    Delivery Schedule and Technology Advancements

Shipments of the solar modules are to start from September 2025. N-Type TOPCon technology used in these modules is famous for high efficiency and durability, and so it is widely preferred by commercial solar installations. The glass-to-glass build also adds to the modules’ durability and efficiency under various weather conditions.

Solex Energy Certifications and Market Presence

Solex Energy has become a reliable Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for the solar industry, both locally and globally. Solex Energy is backed by important certifications that say a lot about its commitment to quality and adherence to international standards. Its export footprint spans several countries, reflecting its growing influence in the renewable energy sector.

Implications for India’s Renewable Energy Landscape

This substantial order aligns with India’s broader objectives to expand its renewable energy capacity and reduce carbon emissions. The integration of advanced solar technologies, such as the N-Type TOPCon modules, is pivotal in achieving higher efficiency and reliability in solar power generation. Collaborations like that of Solex Energy and KPI Green Energy play a crucial role in driving the nation’s transition towards sustainable energy solutions.
